Daily Management Workshop
The Chair, Co-Chair and Secretary are the operational core of the Works Council. In this session, we will help you clearly define the “do’s” and “don’ts” of the Daily Management committee so it’s clear to you, and to the rest of the Works Council, what your responsibilities are. You will also learn about non-hierarchichal leadership as we coach you through the real-time challenges you are facing either with the WoCo itself or amongst each other.
Your Daily Management Committee Will:
Learn about the 4 pillars of a high-functioning WoCo
Define & build confidence on the role of the Daily Management committee
Map how decision-making happens in your WoCo today
Identify where informal habits may be creating confusion or limiting transparency
Define clear changes in behavior, structure, or habits for the committee
Build outputs for operational predictability (i.e. annual calendar, committee proposal template, workload tracker, working agreements, etc.)
Receive coaching on your current challenges
Works Council Fundamentals training is a required pre-requisite to the Daily Management Workshop. We recommend also completing The Works Council Audit as well as the Vision & Priorities Workshop prior to Daily Management coaching.
This training is recommended for the Chair, Co-Chair and Secretary of the Works Council.
Depending on your committee’s needs, this workshop can run for a half or full day.
