Employee Wellbeing 102
Health & Safety is one of the strongest areas of Works Council power, with most topics falling under the hard right to consent. The Social & Economic Council ("The SER") thinks wellbeing is so important, they actually recommend every WoCo have a committee addressing (preventive) wellness in the workplace, and that this committee has an annual training plan in place. With sick leave rates rising in the Netherlands, and with about 25% of sick days taken being due to stress, this is a critical topic for Works Councils to be highly informed so you are ready to engage proactively.
In This Training You Will Deep Dive On:
Absence, Sick Leave, & Reintegration Policies
RI&E (Risk Inventory & Evaluation)
Prevention Officer Tasks & Role
Arbo Assessment
Psychosocial wellbeing and prevention
Employee Consultation and engagement on Wellbeing topics
