Stance-Building Workshop
One of the best ways to move from a reactive to proactive Works Council is to take specific stances on your priority-area topics. In this session, we will choose a strategic topic and capture your concerns, flip those concerns into guiding principles, develop your assessment criteria for success, and build an over-arching stance that can be communicated to both your constituents and management. In a half day, you will move from vague concepts to concrete criteria that can generate progressive workplace policies. Your stance will set the foundation for how your WoCo will negotiate conditions in future RFA’s (Requests for Advice) and RFC’s (Requests for Consent), and will prepare you to start building your own initiatives to proactively propose to the business and your constituents.
You Can Build Your Stance On:
Social Plans
Restructurings & Job Security
Flexible Working Policies
Pay Transparency
AI
Employee Wellbeing
Compensation & Benefits
Performance Evaluations & Promotions
& More!
Best For:
Small groups or committee (5 or less attendees) that can bring a ready-made proposal back to the full Works Council for feedback and adoption.
